My Pilates Journey
I experienced first-hand the difference Pilates can make, as it helped me overcome pain from disc degenerative disease; improve my awareness and increased my overall quality of life. I didn’t plan to be a Pilates Instructor. I took my first Stott® Pilates instructor training in 2013 simply because I wanted to buy a reformer and didn’t want to use it inappropriately and hurt myself unwittingly. Somehow the more I learned, the more curious I got, and the further I pursued and got my certification. Opportunity to teach at a Stott® Pilates Licensed Training Centre came after my 1st exam (2014). And since then I realised every session that I have with clients is a growth journey for me as much as them.  And this passion for teaching drives me further into continually learning different modalities of movement.

What’s the Best Thing about Being a Pilates Teacher
The best thing being a Pilates Instructor is getting the dopamine from client’s ‘aha-moments’. That’s when I know the change has begun and it makes my heart full.
