My Pilates Journey

I started teaching Pilates in 2020. I was first introduced to mat Pilates in the late 1990s when I was living in London. With regular classes I realised how quickly Pilates improved my posture and generally improved my well-being. Then, about eight years ago, I had a series of lower back and knee issues and I started doing Pilates more from a rehab perspective.  Collin was my inspiration to become a Pilates teacher. I had a mid-life reset, I left my long time corporate career in Branding and Communications and certified as a Pilates teacher. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!

What’s the Best Thing about Being a Pilates Teacher

I love the fact that Pilates has the ability to change a person's life. An increasing number of clients present with back, knee, hip, shoulder and neck issues and if we as Pilates teachers can contribute in some way to helping them be pain free and more mobile, then that's an amazing feeling.
