Pilates Bodyworks' Philosophy

The Pilates Method encourages clients to be intimate about themselves. Encompassing a series of controlled, fluid movements, it works the body as a whole, allowing muscle groups to share the workload throughout the body as a system rather than in isolation. Emphasis is on total concentration, envisioning the range of movements and thinking about the muscle groups whilst working out.

"The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences"
Eleanor Roosevelt

The Ideal Environment

The lush earthy tones of the premises of Pilates Bodyworks provide a perfect sanctuary for clients to clear their minds while focusing on strengthening their bodies.

The separate Matwork Studio is lined with mirrors so that clients can observe themselves during exercise protocols. The spacious studio accommodates a sizable class of twelve to fifteen clients comfortably, in a single session.

The Reformer Studio is equally well designed, with mirrors, plush carpeting and a generous range of Reformers, ensuring that training progress will not be hampered by overcrowding at machines or the lack of facilities.
